BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER EUROPE – STONEX RUGGED DEVICES

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager in Europe, to be based in Italy -Milan. Stonex Rugged Devices was recently born as a branch of Stonex, a world leader in production and sales of precision measuring instruments. We at Stonex Rugged Devices produce and sell robust handhelds and tablets suitable to work in industrial or high impact environments.

Your role will be to seek new business and implementing business development activities in rugged mobile computers’ market, you will be highly proactive in initiating conversations and closing deals. You will build business pipelines and help us to achieve our target in 2021, running on your own and using your existing leads.

 

Key Activities

  • Proactively sourcing high value new business in rugged mobile computers’ market
  • Ability to develop own leads and prospects using phone, email, LinkedIn and other marketing sources
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Delivering excellent customer service and building rapport with customers to gain continuous business and referrals
  • Understanding customers’ needs face to face and over the telephone to identify the best possible marketing solutions for them
  • Pipeline management
  • Drive growth through both revenue and margin
  • Produce annual and quarterly sales forecasts

Skills

  • Proven track record in businesstobusiness sales & business development in rugged mobile computers’ market
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Knowledge of current sales and marketing trends and technologies on both B2B and B2C levels
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Fluent English and Italian
